The Chenin for this wine is from a single vineyard on the outskirts of Malmesbury, planted with dry farmed bush vines. Deep golden orange colour, complex aromas of exotic fruits, apricot, honey, and plenty of freshness and minerality on the palate. This is serious and structured, but also incredibly drinkable.
Stompie’s original skin contact Chenin Blanc – this one is fermented on stems AND skins. A lazy 8 month extraction – super long, but slow! This wine is texture town. Every swirl and sip reveals another layer of flavour and complexity.
