Martell Chanteloup XXO Cognac 1 Litre
Martell Chanteloup XXO is a celebration of centuries of masterful Cognac making, capturing the depth and character of the house’s oldest and most precious reserves. As an “Extra Extra Old” release, it goes far beyond standard aging, blending as many as 450 matured eaux-de-vie sourced from the four leading crus of Cognac: Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois. Each region adds its own personality, coming together in a blend defined by harmony and finesse.
In the glass, the spirit glows a deep amber with bright, golden reflections. The nose opens with layers of honey, vine peach, and ripe apricot, followed by softer notes of fig, toasted almond, and walnut. It’s an aromatic profile that immediately promises richness.
The palate is intensely fruity, full, and beautifully balanced, where stone fruits and nutty undertones unfold slowly and elegantly. Power meets smooth refinement, leading into an exceptionally long, memorable finish that speaks to the quality of the eaux-de-vie at its core.
Crafted under the guidance of Martell’s Cellar Master, Christophe Valtaud, the blend reflects nine generations of savoir-faire and takes its name from the historic Château de Chanteloup — a symbolic heart of the Maison.
Presented in a sleek, sculpted decanter, Martell Chanteloup XXO is fitting for collectors and milestone moments alike. Best enjoyed neat, or with a single cube to open its subtler layers, it stands as one of the most refined expressions in the Martell portfolio — a true immersion into time, tradition, and exceptional craftsmanship.
