Bushmills 12 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whisky

A permanent expression from the Old Bushmills distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, first released in select markets in early-2022 and since rolled out more widely. This single malt is triple-distilled from 100% malted barley, matured for 12 years in Oloroso sherry butts and ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for approximately six months in Marsala wine barriques from Sicily. Bottled at 43%. (Bottle size 750ml)

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich dried fruits, honey, vanilla and toasted oak, with notes of raisins, caramel and gentle spice.
Taste: Smooth and rounded, with flavours of dark chocolate, dried figs, sweet sherry, ripe orchard fruits and warm baking spices.
Finish: Long and warming, with lingering dried fruit sweetness, toasted oak and soft spice.
