Kaapse Liqueurs Pittekou Granadilla

So called, because Pittekou, is a literal translation from the Afrikaans meaning “chew the pips”! Pittekou is the original Granadilla Liqueur derived from an “age old” recipe initiated from Citrusdal on the West Coast of the Cape. Granadilla: As a fruit, it is full of antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and fibre. Granadilla can also be referred to as “Passion Fruit”.

*Appearance: Bright, Granadilla orange with fresh pulp in suspension.
*Nose: Exquisitely fresh, natural and tropical, with a powerfully seductive expectation.
Palate/Finish: Explosive follow through from nose with a fine balance of Granadilla fruit and its natural
acidity.
*Serve: Definitely chilled, as is, or on the rocks. Drizzled over ice cream, chocolate and cheesecake desserts –
in fact, over most desserts! Makes a wonderful “Passion Pedro” and can be used in numerous cocktails.
