This wine dons the album art of the contemporary South African jazz collaborative record, “Indaba Is,” a legendary musical compilation that weaves and bends together, etched with the ardor of the 52 musicians it contains. The wine it adorns takes encouragement from this collaborative energy – a blend of grapes from 5 different parcels – Orangerie, Hillside, Kasteelsig, Paarderberg & Waterval – all dotted across the Swartland & made whole by their togetherness – the combination of juice, 7 blissful days on skins and some cherishing, the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Drink with companions and music. There was never just one sound.
Named for a wandering dog… who led us 6 days & 100 miles hiking across South Africa’s Wild Coast and created by two young travelers to share a love for South Africa & grow the future of families living & working on South Africa’s wine farms
