Rosalie Rose 750ml
A typically Provençal style rosé. Hand-picked, whole-bunch Sulphur-free pressed, followed by a 12hr rest to settle. Only the finest and most aromatic lees are kept for complexity and freshness. 20% in 2nd fill puncheon fermentation gives some volume without altering the purity of the fruit. The remainder is left in stainless steel tanks to capture the natural freshness. Aged on fine lees with regular “batonnage” over 6-8 months to extract the beautiful aromas and offer some volume, to reach the perfect balance. Grapes are sourced between Wellington and Stellenbosch. The Grenache from Wellington brings the power, roundness and red fruit while Stellenbosch facing the false bay brings the floral and lighter fruit expression and acidity. This 100% Grenache Rosé is joyful, bright and elegant with lots of character.
