Grown in sunlit vineyards and easily displaying Klein Goedhurst’s preference for balance over weight, this Shiraz captures a more restrained and elegant expression of the variety, with a freshness and peppery lift that brings to mind the approachable Syrahs of Saint-Joseph – aromas of black cherry and ripe plum are threaded with cracked black pepper and a gentle herbal note. The palate is supple and finely balanced, combining vibrant dark fruit with freshness and lightly structured tannins.
